TITANS EDGE CAPITALS BY ONE RUN
The Gujarat Titans edged out Delhi Capitals by a thrilling one run in a last-ball IPL encounter at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Batting first, Gujarat posted a formidable 210/4, led by captain Shubman Gill (70), alongside valuable contributions from Jos Buttler (52) and Washington Sundar (55).
In reply, Delhi Capitals mounted a strong chase, powered by KL Rahul’s superb 92 and a late blitz from David Miller (41*). However, the game turned when Rashid Khan claimed three crucial wickets to stall the innings.
Needing two runs off the final two balls, Delhi faltered under pressure, with a dramatic run-out sealing victory for Gujarat, who secured their first win of the season in dramatic fashion.
