General
Supabets is licensed by the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator and undertakes to abide by all the applicable laws, regulations and rules. The contract between Supabets and the Player is made in terms of these laws and the terms and conditions herein contained. Players agree to abide by all legislated requirements and these terms and conditions. It remains the Players sole responsibility to ensure that they agree and understand all terms and conditions on an ongoing basis.
The opening of an internet betting account and more particularly the conduct of betting transactions between Supabets and its Players shall be exclusively governed by the Laws of the Republic of South Africa.
The Laws of the Republic of South Africa recorded in 1.2 are, inter alia, the following:
the National Gambling Act 33 of 1996 read with its regulations (as amended from time to time);
the Mpumalanga Gambling Act 5 of 1995 read with its regulations (as amended from time to time);
the Financial Intelligence Centre Act 38 of 2001 read with its regulations (as amended from time to time) (“FICA”);
the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 read with its regulations (as amended from time to time); and
the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act No 25 of 2002 read with its regulations (as amended from time to time).
Foreword
Please read these terms and conditions (or “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using the Supabets Website. By registering to the Website or by using the Player Account, Players accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. The Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy are published on the Website and may be changed at any time. The new versions and any update to these Terms and Conditions will take effect immediately upon the Player’s next visit or login on the Website.
The Supabets Website enables Players to:
a. place Bets on the results of official or state-run lotteries such as the American MUSL Powerball, the pan-European DLTB Eurojackpot, scratchcards, and many others.
b. to participate in Instant Win Games operated by Supabets.
“Supabets” – Supabets operates under gaming Licence Number 9-2-1-00055 granted by he Mpumalanga Economic Regulator. No persons under the age of 18 are permitted to bet. National Responsible Gambling Programme 0800 006 008. Betting can be addictive, winners know when to stop. All events are fixed-odds betting games.

Contracts – Bets on Lotteries
When placing a Bet on lotteries, the Player enters into a contract, as follows:
At the time of the Player registration or the placement of an order, the Player enters a contract with Supabets in relation to the use of the Website, the setup, and the management of the Player Account, the placing of Bets for and on their behalf with Supabets, the payment of the Player’s Stakes to Supabets, and the Payout of Winnings received from Supabets to the Player.
Stakes and Fees
For Bets, the Player shall pay to Supabets a stake which is fully claimed by Supabets. The Player does not have to pay any fees for any of Supabets’ services.
Structure of these Terms and Conditions
The introduction, namely all provisions above and the definitions contained below, apply to the entirety of these Terms and Conditions, including sections one to three below.
The first section of these Terms and Conditions contains the contractual provisions of the legal relationship between the Player and Supabets as to the account of the Player and the use of the Web site https://www.Supabets.co.za/ (“First Section – Supabets Specific Terms and Conditions”).
The second section of these Terms and Conditions contains the contractual provisions of the legal relationship between the Player and Supabets concerning the bets and the winnings made on the Web site https://www.Supabets.co.za/ (“Second Section – Supabets Specific Terms and Conditions”).
The third section of these Terms and Conditions contains general contractual provisions for the legal relationship between the Player and Supabets as well as to the contract between the Player and Supabets (“Third Section – General Terms and Conditions”).
Definitions
“Bank Account” – the bank account of a commercial credit institution provided by the Player and linked directly to the Player Account.
“Bank Card” – a debit, credit, or prepaid card or any other card with a payment and/or credit function and used as a payment method.
“Bet” – a bet on the outcome of a certain real event, for example, the result of a certain lottery or scratchcard data at a set point in time, as offered by the Supabets Website and submitted directly or indirectly, via the internet, telephone, or other channels.
“Betting Event” – the events Supabets makes available to Players as described in the Supabets game overview and on which Bets may be placed, including draws of Underlying Lotteries.
“Company” means Supabets (Licence Number 9-2-1-00055), licensed and regulated by the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator.
“Customer Information” means any data relating to Customers, whether provided by the Company or directly to any of its third party service providers, including without limitation, names, addresses, email addresses, credit card numbers and expiration dates, and any and all other information obtained or accrued by any third party, as a result of or in connection with, the Customers and/or their participation in the Offering.
Excluded List
“Jackpot” – in the case of a Bet, the maximum possible winning at games of Supabets in respect to the relevant Prize Category/Prize Categories of the relevant Betting Event or the sum thereof without the option DoubleJackpot. Jackpots can be fixed to an amount chosen and advertised by Supabets.
“Operator” means, in respect of each lottery game and draw, the lottery organizer that organizes and manages that lottery game and draw, in compliance with applicable law.
“Pay-Out” – the amount, which the Company has to pay out or has already paid out in respect to a correctly matched Bet a relevant Betting Event.
“Player” – a registered user of the Website.
“Player Account” – the account created by a Player on the Website https://www.Supabets.co.za/ through which the Player uses the services provided by Supabets, including place and pay Bets on the Website. Players are not permitted to have more than one Player Account at any one time.
“Privacy Policy” – the valid policy published by Supabets for the use and storage of personal information, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions.
“Prize Category” or “Prize Tier” – the amount of numbers correctly matched (including Super Numbers, Stars, Euro Numbers, Powerballs, Mega Balls, Bonus Balls and/or others as applicable) determines the Prize Category for the relevant Supabets game, as announced in the official rules of the Underlying Lottery.
“Stake” – this refers to either the sum of money the Player decides to bet for a relevant game and for a certain Virtual Play Slip, including any service fees.
“Services” means the Company’s (in itself or by proxy) services of handling, processing and storing Virtual Tickets and Customer Information, as offered via the Website as well as distribution of Winnings.
“Site/Website” means the following website providing the service: https://www.Supabets.co.za/
“Type A Prize Category” – a Prize Category where the Payout to the Player depends on the number of Supabets Winning Bets and Underlying Lottery Winning Tickets in that Prize Category, as defined in the Supabets Game overview.
“Type B Prize Category” – a Prize Category where the Payout to the Player depends on the number of Supabets Winning Bets and Underlying Lottery Winning Tickets in that Prize Category, as defined in the Supabets Game overview.
“Type C Prize Category” – a Prize Category where the Payout to the Player is independent of the number of Supabets Winning Bets and Underlying Lottery Winning Tickets in that Prize Category, as defined in the Supabets Game overview.
“Underlying Lottery” – a lottery that a Supabets game is based on.
“Underlying Lottery Jackpot” – the aggregate amount payable by the Underlying Lottery Operator for all Underlying Lottery Winning Tickets in a Type A or Type B Prize Category for the relevant draw of the Underlying Lottery, as announced by the Underlying Lottery Operator or, in a condition where no such Winning Tickets are announced, the amount that would have been payable by the Underlying Lottery Operator had there been an Underlying Lottery Winning Ticket in that Jackpot Prize Category for the relevant draw.
“Underlying Lottery Operator” – the organization that organizes or co-organizes the Underlying Lottery.
“User” means any person holding a valid User Account.
“User Account” means a personal account successfully opened via the Website by an individual, solely for the use of that individual for the purpose of using the Services.
“Us/We/Our” means the Company, and any subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, representatives, agents and contractors, and any other person acting for or on behalf of the Company.
“Virtual Ticket” means a virtual play slip purchased by the User in order to place a Bet on the result of an official Lottery.
“Website” – the Internet portal of Supabets, which is accessible at https://www.Supabets.co.za/
“Winning Virtual Ticket” means a Virtual Ticket which entitles a User to receive Payout, as determined solely by the Services.
“Winnings” – this refers to the premium to be paid to the Player for a Supabets Winning bet.
“You/Your” means the User.
“Virtual Play Slip” – the electronic play slip on the Website to bet on a relevant lottery.
All references in these Terms and Conditions in relation to a Player placing a Bet or in relation to the placement of Bets refer to, the placing of a Bet by Supabets in the name and on behalf of the Player in SA, unless if otherwise is regulated.
Unless the context clearly requires a different understanding, words used in one genus are to be understood in another genus as well.
SECTION 1 – SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF Supabets
1.
The Player
1.1. The Player warrants at all times that:
- They have read and fully understood and agreed to the Terms and Conditions of the Website;
They are not under 18 years of age;
They are aware that they might lose the Stake they submitted via the Website;
- They are not depositing money originating from criminal and/or other unauthorized activities;
- They are not listed in the Excluded List;
- The information and details provided by them at registration and payment respectively are complete, accurate, and have not been stolen or lost;
- They are, at the time of placing their Bet, not a director, officer, or employee (or their spouse or dependant), a related person of Supabets, or a contractor or service provider of any of the Supabets Group who is deemed by Supabets to be in a direct or indirect employment position;
- They are not restricted by limited legal capacity;
- They only have one Player Account at Supabets;
- They are responsible for correct payment of taxes, duties and levies.
Supabets is entitled to void a Bet at any time if the Player is found to be or have been in a breach at any time of any of these warranties, (including, for the avoidance of doubt, after a Betting Event, which would have entitled the Player to certain Winnings, has taken place).
1.2. The Player needs to register on the Website in order to use all Supabets services, and place Bets. Supabets reserves the right to refuse the completion of registration of any Player.
1.3. The Player may be required to provide the following details during the process of registration, purchase, or Payout of Winnings: Full name, address of residence, gender, date of birth, email address, telephone number, payment method details, as well as other information relevant or necessary for the realization of services provided by Supabets. By providing these details, the Player grants Supabets permission to verify the details provided, including the verification of their age, directly through Supabets or via any third-party providers. Supabets is not responsible for the failure of Payout due to non-provision of details by the Player, or the provision of missing, incorrect, incomplete, or expired details. Supabets is under no obligation to verify any details provided or to make contact with the Player to complete or change incorrect, incomplete, or invalid details.
1.4. The Player must immediately inform Supabets if their bank/credit/debit card or a comparable payment method, which they have used on the Website, is lost, suspended,stolen or blocked; the same applies if relevant passwords or confidential information has been submitted to third parties.
1.5. Supabets is entitled to request any proof that the Player has the authority to use any paying instruments which are linked to the Player’s Account.
1.6. The Player shall inform Supabets regarding any changes to the information provided including, but not limited to, bank/credit/debit cards and bank accounts, by updating their Player Account. Supabets will not be held liable for any damages caused due to any payment details being compromised.
2.
Player Account
2.1. The Player may self-manage their data at any time manually on the My Account page.
2.2. Players are not permitted to have more than one Player Account at any one time. If an additional account or accounts are or were opened by a Player and/or Payment details are used in multiple Player Accounts, Supabets will be entitled in its sole discretion to suspend or close any such accounts without notice. Supabets shall be entitled to void any bets made by that Player Account, retain all monies in such Player Account as a compensation and to close any such accounts without notice. Any accounts opened under the same address/IP address/sharing the same personal or contact details or the same payment method that are found to be related will be subject to this clause. All decisions to terminate Player Accounts shall be final, binding and not subject to appeal.
The Company shall not be responsible in any way for preventing the registration of multiple accounts, but can take action, including retaining all monies in such accounts as well as any related Virtual Tickets and Winnings, against any person opening multiple accounts
2.3. Supabets is entitled in its sole discretion to define and redefine the minimum and maximum amounts for deposits and Stakes during a particular time period and for a particular Player.
2.4. The Player must keep their Player Account details (pass number, username, password, etc.) in a safe place so as to prevent any unauthorized access. The Player is responsible for all activities and transactions conducted on their Player Account.
2.5. The Player is not authorized to grant access to their Player Account to third parties or to use third parties’ Player Accounts.
2.6. It is under the Player’s responsibility to report to Supabets regarding any suspected fraud or illegal uses of their Player Account and to take such steps as may be required to overcome it, such as by changing the password of the Player Account.
2.7. The Player may lock their Player Account at any. The request for Temporary Suspension or Self-Exclusion shall be placed by contacting customer service.
2.8. The reopening of the Player Account that has been self-excluded is possible only after the Self-Exclusion period has expired. In order to reopen the Player Account, the Player must contact the Supabets’ Customer Service.
2.9. The Player may permanently close their Player Account on the Website by contacting the Supabets Customer Service. The pre-condition for closing the Player Account is that there are no open or active Bets linked to the relevant Player Account. If the Player closes their Player Account and then opens a new Player Account, Supabets has the right to close such a new Player Account at its discretion and without any notice or further explanation to the Player. The data in the Player Account, including personal data, if any, will be deleted after the expiration of the legally provided period (starting from the date of closure), for which it should be kept by Supabets. Supabets, at its sole discretion, may reasonably deny The Player’s request for erasure of his personal data in case any such data is necessary for compliance and fulfillment of legal obligations, including, but not limited to, legal obligations related to financial transactions.
Prior to closing your Player Account, Supabets will alert you regarding available funds in your Player Account. You will be notified to withdraw any available amounts prior to closing your Player Account. If a Player Account is closed prior to withdrawing available funds, you are requested to contact customer support on support@Supabets to retrieve your funds. Any available balance may only be withdrawn after KYC is performed in accordance with the rules and thresholds set out in these Terms and Conditions.
2.10. The Player can view at all times a list of all their active and past lottery tickets in the My Account section.
2.11. Supabets is entitled to restrict the Player’s account in a case where the Player Account is not verified or is suspected of any malicious behavior.
2.12. The Player can fund their Supabets Player account and initiate any purchase on the Supabets website. The purchase will be directly deducted from the Player Account’s balance.
2.13. As part of your use of the website, the website provides you with the facility of Live Chat, as an option to communicate with Customer Service for any relevant issue. Live Chat is moderated by the Company and is subject to the following rules:
● All conversations are recorded and will be kept for a reasonable period. Your use of the Live Chat facility should be for purposes relating strictly to the Company services and any relevant issues you might be having in relation to these services.
● Abusive and/or offensive language shall not be accepted. In addition, you are not entitled to make untrue and/or malicious and/or damaging comments with regard to the Website’s operation in any media or forum.
● Supabets is entitled to close or suspend the Player Account at its sole discretion if the Player uses abusive and/or aggressive language in its communications with Supabets using its Live Chat facilities.
3.
Placing of Bets
3.1. The Player instructs Supabets to place Bets on the Supabets website on their behalf by filling out and submitting a Virtual Play Slip on the Website.
3.2. After the Player has filled out the Virtual Play Slip, it is transferred to the Player’s shopping cart.
3.3. The Player submits their Bet by clicking the relevant button in the shopping cart. If the Account balance is not sufficient the Player needs to provide their payment details and Supabets will acquire satisfactory confirmation of the payment before the Bet is submitted.
3.4. The Bet cannot be amended or canceled by the Player once it is submitted.
3.5. The Player can check the processing status of the relevant Bet at any time via their Player Account on the Supabets Website.
3.6. For purchases made using Bank Cards Your card statement will read Supabets.
4.
Payment and Accounts
4.1. It is not possible to bet or play with no Account balance or with a negative Account balance.
4.2. In case of winnings which are equivalent to R1.7M or more, The Player agrees to participate in a handover ceremony open to any media organization of Supabets’ choice and to give one or more interviews. Supabets may at its discretion waive these obligations and/or choose an alternative payment method if needed for operational or other reasons. For transfers, Supabets may charge the Player with bank transfer fees. The winning shall be paid after verification of personal data of the Player with the information specified in Player’s account.
4.3. Any third-party bank and payment processing charges and fees are borne by the Player and Supabets is entitled to debit the Player Account accordingly. This also applies to foreign exchange charges.
4.4. The Player entitles Supabets or its appointees/ employees to authorize the process of a debit of the relevant amount from the Bank Account provided by the Player.
4.5. In the case of a returned direct debit, Supabets may reject the acceptance of further payments. Supabets is entitled to open and transfer claims against the Player, including additional but appropriate fees to any collection agency.
4.6. Supabets will credit payments from the Player to Supabets’ bank account immediately upon receipt of the funds. The Player shall state their Player Number with all bank transfers.
4.7. In any case, where a payment to Supabets from the Player Account is ceased, interrupted, returned or for any other reasons is not finalized or in case that such payment is canceled afterward or theft or fraud is obvious in this regard, Supabets is entitled to debit the relevant amounts including any additional fees imposed to Supabets.
4.8. The balance of the Player’s Account does not bear any interest.
4.9. The Player can withdraw funds that are constituted as Winnings under the My Transactions section. In order to mitigate money laundering and fraud, funds from unspent deposits can only be withdrawn by contacting the Supabets Customer Support.
4.10. A Player can only withdraw funds to the bank account that is under the name of the Player Account holder.
4.11. The credited amount deposited by the Player and the payable credit balance on the Player Account respectively will be held in a dedicated bank account under the name of Supabets and will not be subject to any particular escrow or other mechanisms for protection in the event of insolvency.
Supabets is required by its license to update Players regarding all the activities that affect their funds under the account which Supabets holds for them, and the extent to which such funds are protected in the event of insolvency. The Player funds are kept in a bank account separate from company funds. Please be informed that the Player funds may be considered as company assets according to the applicable legislation in the event of insolvency and are therefore categorized as unprotected.
4.12. Supabets is entitled to charge the Player Account with any appropriate expenses which refer to the costs incurred by Supabets due to the execution of assignments from a Player or the execution of an order. These costs are at the expense of the Player.
4.13. Winnings are either tax-free or non-taxable in several countries. It is the Player’s primary responsibility to be informed and to maintain any correct payment of taxes, duties, and levies related to winnings. In the event Supabets is required to pay any taxes, duties or levies directly to the regulatory authorities of a country for the Player’s winnings, it shall be entitled to deduct those taxes, duties or levies from the Player’s Account or claim them from the Player accordingly.
4.14. Supabets is entitled to consider a Player Account as inactive if one year or more has passed since the last stake transaction of the Player. Supabets is responsible to notify the Player once their account is considered as inactive.
If the Player Account is still deemed as inactive 30 days after the notification, a monthly inactive account fee of 5.00 EUR (or equivalent currency) shall be payable (“Inactive Account Fee”). The Inactive Account Fee will be deducted from the Player Account balance until the earlier of (a) the Player Account balance being reduced to zero, or (b) the Player Account being reactivated by the Player using the Player Account to carry out betting activity. In each situation, the Inactive Account Fee shall cease to be deducted.
5.
Rights of Supabets
5.1. Supabets is entitled to suspend any relevant Player Accounts and Players from using the Website with immediate effect if Supabets believes that a Player does not or did not meet the requirements specified in these Terms and Conditions. In addition, Supabets is entitled to suspend any relevant Player Accounts and Players from using the Website or to close/terminate Player Accounts at its sole discretion, if Supabets believes that:
- The Player has provided false information in connection with their Player Account, any payment methods or otherwise in connection with the Website and the services available through it or has misled the Company in any way;
The Player maintains or maintained more than one Player Account;
The Player is or was involved in fraud-related activities;
- The Player is or was in breach of any other substantial provision of these Terms and Conditions;
- The Player has used the Website in a fraudulent manner or for illegal and/or unlawful or improper purposes including but not limited to a case where Supabets has reasonable suspicion that a Player is abusing or attempting to abuse a bonus, offer or other promotion form or take advantage of any software or system bug or failure;
- Any of the events which are referred to in this clause may have occurred or are likely to occur;
- The Company is required by law or is requested to do so by the police, by any regulatory authority or by a court, in addition, Supabets shall be entitled to permanently suspend the relevant Player Accounts and Players from using the Website, if Supabets believes that (i) any details of the Bank Account or Bank Card the Player has supplied were, or have become, incorrect or the credit/debit card is reported as lost or stolen or becomes the subject of fraudulent activity, (ii) Supabets receives a negative appraisal of creditworthiness for a Player or if any direct debit collection due from a Player is returned for reasons attributed to the Player, (iii) the Player has used a payment instrument without the instrument’s owners written approval; or (iv) the Player has allowed a third party to place Bets on the Website using their Player Account.
5.2. During the period of suspension of a Player Account, the Player will be banned from accessing or using their Player Account; in addition, Supabets may investigate any suspicious event and will be entitled (but shall not be obliged) to require that the Player provides any and all such identification documents as Supabets reasonably requires.
5.3. Should Supabets determine that the event giving rise to suspension has occurred, Supabets will be entitled to close/terminate the Player Account in question permanently and may choose to do so once any outstanding Stakes associated with that Player Account for future Bets expire or otherwise may at its discretion void such Bets issued or played. If the Stake was placed by a Player under 18 years of age, Supabets shall void the relevant Bets in which case the Stake (if returned by Supabets) will be returned to that person’s Bank Account and the Player Account will be closed. Supabets is entitled, at its sole discretion, to retain all monies in the Player Account as compensation.
5.4. Should Supabets determine that such a breach did not occur, the Player Account suspension will be lifted.
5.5. For the avoidance of doubt, it is hereby clarified that a person who is not entitled to use the Services – as well as any other person who substitutes such person – is also not entitled to any of the Winnings, and Supabets reserves the right to shut down his/her Player Account and seize any funds (including, but not limited to, Winnings) held in that Player Account, to the extent collected by Us in accordance with these Terms of Use).
5.6. Supabets reserve the right to verify the Player’s registration details and payment methods used, at any time, for any reason, including (but not limited to) any investigation into the identity of the Player or any credit checks performed on the Player. Supabets may decide at its sole discretion to terminate the Player Account, and withhold all funds in such account as well as withhold any Payout (to the extent collected by Us in accordance with these Terms of Use), on the basis that such an investigation provides a negative or uncertain outcome. Supabets shall be under no obligation to accept such documents as valid and whether We decide to accept such documents shall be at our sole discretion. In the event the requested documents are not provided by the Player, the Company may at its sole discretion terminate the account, and withhold any funds that are present therein including any Winnings (to the extent collected by Us in accordance with these Terms of Use) and/or to forfeit the Player’s Bets.
5.7. If Supabets terminates a Player’s use of the Website for any other reason, Supabets may notify the relevant Player by email using the email address provided to Supabets In such circumstances, Supabets may refund the payable balance held on the Player Account to the Player at its discretion and subject to case circumstances, after both stakes and any fees incurred have been deducted, and Winnings for all the future and open Bets that the Player has already purchased have been settled, using the Bank Account provided by the Player.
5.8. Supabets may cancel, delay or withhold any Winnings or Player’s funds from a Player if Supabets deems so in its absolute discretion that (i) there may be chargebacks for the relevant Player Account or between that Player and any affiliate of Supabets, (ii) any Winnings stem directly from a chargeback or (iii) the Player has taken part in any form of bonus abuse, cheating, fraudulent activity or taken advantage of any software or system bug or any failure.
5.9. If Supabets establishes a violation of the Terms and conditions and at Supabets’ sole discretion, The Player is found to have cheated or attempted to defraud Supabets or any other Player (or suspected of such activity) by engaging in any fraudulent activity, including (without limitation):
- colluding with others in order to gain an unfair advantage (including through bonus schemes or similar incentives offered by the Website or by intentionally losing money to other players (e.g. chip dumping);
- have registered false or misleading account information
- have opened multiple accounts
- have acted (or attempted to act) in any way which is reasonably deemed by Supabets to be illegal in any applicable jurisdiction, made in bad faith, or intended to defraud us and/or circumvent any contractual or legal restrictions, regardless of whether such act or attempted act actually causes us any damage or harm
- have committed manipulation or payment fraud
- have fraudulent or collusive activity, including (but not limited to) reversal of payment and/or use of stolen payment means, or of any illegal or prohibited activity (including, but not limited to, money laundering)
- have used a VPN or proxy to hide or alter the identity of the device you are using to connect to the website
- have taken unfair advantage, including by exploiting a fault, loophole or error in our or any third party’s software used by you in connection with the website (including in respect of any game) to your advantage and/or to the disadvantage of us and/or other players
- have taken unfair advantage through the use of third party software or analysis systems, including but not limited to, software that includes features that: (a) enables play without human intervention (e.g. Bots), and/or (b) makes automated decisions;
- The Player’s deposits or payments failed to be honored for any reason,
Supabets reserves the right to withhold Winnings (to the extent collected by Us in accordance with these Terms of Use) and withdraws, suspend or terminate Your Player Account and all related Player Accounts, seize and/or confiscate all funds contained within and recover bad debts using whichever method may be available to Supabets. For the avoidance of doubt, it is hereby clarified that nothing within this Agreement will preclude Supabets from utilizing any other remedy available to it in respect of any matter relating to this Agreement.
6.
Winnings and payout
6.1. Players may update themselves with respect to Winnings via their Player Accounts on the Website. In addition, Supabets may inform the Player regarding any Winnings via email, SMS/text message or in other ways. Information about Winnings can be provided in any currency that is supported on the Supabets Website.
6.2. Supabets shall transfer the Winnings to the Player Account of the relevant Player after the publication of the relevant Payouts and calculation of Winnings. The Players are entitled to either use their Winnings to pay for future Bets or request that Supabets pay Winnings into a bank account in accordance with clause 4.2. above. Supabets may transfer, for safety reasons, amounts to a Player’s Bank Account or other bank account nominated by the Player, on the condition that it is in accordance with clause 4.2. above, and only after a scan of the front and back sides of a valid identification document and/or proof of residence address, specifying the information which fits the name or maiden name, date of birth and addresses the Player has provided during the process of registration in the Website, has been received and accepted. For the avoidance of doubt, in case of a Winning, payout may be done either in a lump sum or by way of several annuity installments.
6.3. Supabets is authorised in its sole discretion to void the relevant Bets, if any of the following occur: (i) Supabets was instructed by a Player to place Bets only after the relevant deadline or after the start of the relevant Betting Event and/or if Supabets erroneously accepted an instruction to place Bets on the Website after the relevant deadline or after the start of the relevant Betting Event, (ii) Supabets becomes aware of a genuine error in relation to that Bet or Betting Event and is not able to contact the Player to correct the error or confirm the Bet before the deadline, (iii) Supabets was instructed to place a Bet by a Player who has provided false, incomplete or expired information in connection with their Player Account or otherwise in connection with the Website or the services available through it, (iv) Supabets was instructed to place a Bet by a Player who has been involved in any fraud-related activities in relation to the Bet, the operation of the Player Account or otherwise in connection with the Website or the services available through it, (v) Supabets was instructed to place a Bet by a Player who was, at the time of placing the Bet, less than 18 years old, (vi) the Player maintains or maintained more than one Player Account, (vii) in conjunction with any Betting Event, fraud and/or technical and/or human error or unwarranted influence was found, (viii) the Betting Event is declared by an organiser or co-organiser as being invalid, incorrect or published in error, as the case may be, or (ix) Supabets deems in its absolute discretion that a Player has partaken in any form of bonus abuse, cheating, fraud or taken advantage of any software or system bug or failure.
6.4. Supabets can only credit Winnings to a Player Account or comply with instructions from a Player to pay Winnings into a bank account in accordance with clause 4.2. above if the Player is entitled to a Winning.
6.5. For Winnings in any Prize Category, Supabets may require additional documents such as notarized copies of proof of identity and proof of residence, regardless of whether such proof was previously provided to Supabets. All documents requested by Supabets must be provided by the Player no later than 12 weeks after the date of the Betting Event. If the Player fails to produce all documents requested by Supabets during this period of time, the Winnings shall be forfeit.
6.6. The Player understands and accepts that jackpots may be advertised in a certain currency and if it is claimed in a different currency there may be a reduction in the jackpot amount caused by currency fluctuations due to the applicable exchange rate.
6.7. Winnings of over R170,000.00 might require longer processing time than usual due to bank clearance and security and fraud checks. This can generally add up to 7 days to the normal processing time, but is dependent on case by case.
6.8. If a Player wins a progressive casino jackpot, or a pooled progressive jackpot, which is one and the same jackpot shared by several casinos, usually on one same game, or if the player wins a progressive jackpot of R850,000.00 or more, the withdrawal process will take longer time than a regular withdrawal as the win has to be verified with the game provider and, in some cases, communicated amongst the casino network that shares the jackpot pool. As soon as Supabets receives the full pooled jackpot amount, Supabets will initiate the withdrawal process and the player can choose to withdraw up to the whole amount of the progressive jackpot win.
6.9. For all winnings not classified as progressive casino jackpot wins or as a lottery jackpot win, the Player can withdraw up to R510,000 every 30 days, or up to R4250 every 7 days, until the whole requested amount has been transferred.
6.10. Winnings derived from free gifts or bonus money, including 100% discount coupons, cannot be withdrawn from the player’s account. Players may use the winning amount to play and place bets on Supabets website.
7.
Additional Rights
Supabets reserves the right:
i. to deduct the amount of any unpaid Bets owed by that Player to Supabets or any affiliate from the Player’s Winnings;
ii. to terminate, change or suspend any Player Account, immediately and without any notice, for any other reason at Supabets’s sole discretion;
iii. to require that the active Player provides any identification documents in order to enable Supabets to validate the Player Account details and the Player’s entitlement to the Winnings in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Supabets may withhold any payments of Winnings until any such matter has been entirely resolved.
8.
Website, Links, and Banners
8.1. Supabets reserves the right to make amendments, corrections or changes, or to suspend or terminate any aspect of the Website and the content, services or products available on the Website. Such changes shall not be retrospectively applied and in the event where such changes may affect live Bets, Supabets shall be entitled to void such Bets and any Stakes shall be repaid to the Player Account.
8.2. Supabets is not responsible for the content of any third-party advertisers’ promotional links or advertising banners appeared during the use of the services of the Website.
8.3. Players are prohibited from the usage of the Website by introducing any viruses, trojans, worms, web crawlers or other malicious or harmful material. Supabets is not liable for any loss, security breach or damage to the Players caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other malware or harmful material that may infect a Player’s computer equipment, computer software, data or other material while using the Supabets Website or any website linked to it.
8.4. Supabets does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the Website. The Website may contain errors or inaccuracies, or information that is out of date.
8.5. The contents of the Website (including these Terms and Conditions) are protected by international copyright laws and other intellectual property rights. The owner of these rights is Supabets, its affiliates or other third party licensors. All products, company names, and logos showcased on the Website are the trademarks, service marks or trading names of their respective owners, including Supabets. Players may print and download extracts from the Website for their personal use only, ensured that:
i. no documents or related graphics on the Website are modified in any way;
ii. no graphics on the Website are used separately from the accompanying text;
iii. the status of Supabets (and of any affiliates or identified contributors) as the author of any material on this Website is acknowledged.
8.6. No part of the Website may be reproduced, stored, modified, copied, uploaded, republished, transmitted, posted, or distributed, by any means or in any manner, or included in any other website, publication or public or private electronic retrieval system or service including, but not limited to, code, text, graphics, messages, video, and/or software without Supabets’ written consent.

Supabets meets all regulatory guidelines with respect to the collection, use, and storage of personal data of Players. The Privacy Policy includes the full details of the permission of the use and storage of personal information, jointly with clauses 19.7 – 19.12 herein.
SECTION 2 – SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF Supabets
10. Bets
10.1. Supabets will accept Bets on behalf of the Player in the case where instructions to place those Bets have been generated by the Player and those Bets have been placed with it by Supabets.
Any reference in section 2 of the Terms and Conditions to a Player refers to a Player who is acting through Supabets as their intermediary.
Supabets is not a lottery operator. Players placing Bets through Supabets bet on the results of the draws of official and/or state-run lotteries and/or lottery-style draws.
10.2. In order for the Player to place a Bet through Supabets, at least one Bet per Virtual Play Slip has to be filled in.
10.3. The Player may place a Bet for a certain duration depending on the selected Supabets game. Stakes for Bets placed for a certain duration will be debited via prepayment at the beginning of the relevant duration for all relevant Betting Events for the selected duration.
10.4. By selecting the “Subscription” option, the Player may extend Bets’ duration automatically. The Player may select a Subscription period from 1 to 52 weeks, depending on the selected Supabets game.
10.5. Supabets reserve the right to withhold any refund or reverse transaction until the identity of the Player Account is adequately established to the Company’s satisfaction, in order to ensure that any payment made to the Company will be honored after a refund has been made. The Player agrees to provide, in case We demand, a notarized identification, or any other certified identification in accordance with the applicable laws of the Player’s jurisdiction.
10.6. By enlisting to a multi draw package, The Player will pre order lottery tickets for their favourite games, select how many draws they wish to participate in from an exhaustive list, pick the numbers of choice or opt for a randomly selected lot, and such numbers will be placed for subsequent draws according to the criteria set by The Player. Once a multi draw package has been purchased, The Player will not be able to cancel such a transaction and therefore, all purchases of multi draw packages are non-refundable and non-terminable.
10.7. Except where specifically stated otherwise herein, no refund can be completed for funds subject to wagering requirements or restrictions.
10.8. The deadlines for betting on each Betting Event will be published on the Website.
Valid Bets will be placed on the next relevant Betting Event, provided that the Player has placed the Bet before the respective deadline. The deadline for the relevant Betting Event will be published on the Website. The Player will ensure that the instructions are given to place the Bet before the relevant deadline. For the avoidance of any doubt, the instructions to place a Bet or the apparent placement of a Bet after the beginning of a specific Betting Event or a Betting Event that has occurred will be invalid, regardless of any automatic confirmation, that may be generated via email or in the Website, or irrespective of an incorrect deadline displayed in the Website.
10.9. If a lottery draw does not take place or no draw result is officially published or officially announced, all valid Bets on that Betting Event will move to the rescheduled draw. If no rescheduled draw is announced, all valid Bets on the Betting Event will move to the next available relevant draw.
10.10. In the event where not all the data required to determine the Betting Event winning number is available, the data of the next day will be used (example: In the case where there is no opening value due to a public holiday or sabbatical, the next day’s opening values will be used). This applies to all games with the exception of Daily Million.
If the data of a specific day with an originally scheduled Betting Event is used for a previously scheduled Betting Event, the data of the next day (in a case where all required data being available) will be used for the originally scheduled Betting Event (example: In a case where there are no available opening values for a Betting Event originally scheduled for Wednesday and Friday due to public holidays or sabbatical, Friday’s opening values will be used for the Betting Event originally scheduled for Wednesday and Monday’s opening values will be used for the Betting Event originally scheduled for Friday). This applies to all games with the exception of Daily Million.
This only applies to Betting Events of the same kind (for example US Millions can use Friday’s opening values only once. If Friday’s opening values are used for the Betting Event originally scheduled for Wednesday, Monday’s opening values will be used for the Betting Event originally scheduled for Friday).
With respect to Daily Million only, in the event where not all the data that is required in order to determine the Betting Event winning number is available, the Betting Event will be moved to the next day and all the required data of this Betting Event will be used.
10.11. Supabets endeavors to ensure that all the jackpot values for Betting Events displayed on the Website are correct. However, Supabets assumes no responsibility for errors contained in such information. Supabets assesses the amount of future jackpots using various sources, such as the current or future jackpot being won or rolled over, but is not liable for any false assumptions, calculations or forecasts.
10.12. Maximum Payouts
The total of all payable Winnings by Supabets per Prize Category for a certain Betting Event must never exceed the numbers as set out below. If these numbers will be exceeded, Winnings will be divided among the winners.
10.13. Special Jackpots
Under its sole discretion, Supabets is free to announce a Special Jackpot. In this case, the Special Jackpot sum announced will replace any Underlying Lottery Jackpot in the Type A Prize Category.
10.14. Only one Prize Category can be won per regular Bet, which will be the highest of the available Prize Categories achieved by, and relevant to, that Bet. A Combo Bet can generate a win in more than one Prize Category, based on the separate Bets it is made of.
10.15. Syndicates
i.A syndicate is a lottery ticket consisting of one or more lines, split into a predefined number of Shares. A Player can participate in a Supabets Syndicate by purchasing one or more Shares. Each syndicate has a predefined number of Shares.
ii.The number combinations for syndicate are randomly selected upon the creation of the syndicate in the Supabets system, and the Player cannot reset them. The numbers and amount of lines will be visible to the Player on the Player Account. The larger the number of lines in the syndicate, the higher the Player’s chances of winning.
iii.The Player can buy Shares of a ticket for the next upcoming draw or for multiple sequential future draws.
iv.Winnings for the Supabets Syndicate are calculated in three steps:
Step 1 – The calculation of Total Syndicate Winnings:
The Syndicate Winnings total equals the sum of all Winnings for all Supabets Winning Bets forming part of the Syndicate.
Step 2 – The calculation of Syndicate Fraction:
Syndicate Fraction equals the number of Shares bought by the Player divided by the Total of Shares advertised for the relevant Syndicate.
Step 3 – The calculation of Winnings for a particular Supabets Syndicate Winning Bet:
Winnings for the relevant Supabets Syndicate Winning Bet equal to the Total Syndicate Winnings multiplied by Syndicate Fraction.
Example 1: In a case, where there is a Lottery Syndicate Winning Bet with Total Syndicate Winnings of R850M, and the Syndicate Fraction is 1 of 100, then the Winnings for this EU Lotto Syndicate Winning Bet will be R8.5M.
Example 2: In a case, where there is an EU Lotto Syndicate Winning Bet with Total Syndicate Winnings of R850M and the Syndicate Fraction is 5 of 50, then the Winnings for this Supabets Lotto Syndicate Winning Bet are R85M.
10.16. Winnings are calculated and credited in player’s account currency in accordance with the valid exchange rates as determined by currencylayer.com. Any fees and costs incurred in connection with such conversion will be deducted from the winnings credited.
10.17. Supabets will use reasonable means and efforts to ensure that all the displayed information and results on the Website are correct and up to date.
10.18. Supabets will not be responsible for any mistakes with respect to the information displayed.
10.19. Once a bet is placed and confirmed, players cannot cancel, amend or reverse their bets.
11. Winnings for Bets on Lotteries
11.1. Supabets calculates the Winnings for each Bet. The calculation differs per Underlying Lottery and Prize Category.

11.2. Winnings in a Type A Prize Category
The payable Winnings for each Supabets Winning Bet in a Type A Prize Category (as defined in the table in 11.1., for example, Prize Category 1 in EuroMillions) will depend on the number of the Underlying Lottery Winning Tickets in that Prize Category, the number of Supabets Winning Bets in that Prize Category, the payable Prize by the Underlying Lottery Operator for the Underlying Lottery Winning Tickets in that Prize Category as well as the Underlying Lottery Jackpot in that Prize Category.
Supabets calculates the Winnings in a Type A Prize Category on the basis of the number of aggregate stakes published by the Underlying Lottery Operator as well as the distribution to that Jackpot Prize Category or on the basis of the jackpot published on the Website of the Underlying Lottery Operator for that Prize Category of the relevant draw of the Underlying Lottery.
Only one Supabets Winning Bet in a Type A Prize Category
In a case, where there is only one Supabets Winning Bet in a Type A Prize Category, the payable Winnings for this Supabets Winning Bet are calculated as follows:
Winnings = Underlying Lottery Jackpot in that Type A Prize Category / (Underlying Lottery Winning Tickets in that Type A Prize Category+1)
In a case, where the Supabets Winning Bet in the Type A Prize Category is with DoubleJackpot, the Winnings will be doubled.
Example 1: In a case, where there is only one Supabets Winning Bet in the Type A Prize Category and no Underlying Lottery Winning Ticket has been announced by the Underlying Lottery Operator in the Type A Prize Category for an Underlying Lottery Jackpot in the Type A Prize Category of R1.53B. The payable Winnings for that single Supabets Winning Bet will amount to R1.53B.
Example 2: In a case, where there is only one Supabets Winning Bet in the Type A Prize Category and two Underlying Lottery Winning Tickets have been announced by the Underlying Lottery Operator in the Type A Prize Category for an Underlying Lottery Jackpot in the Type A Prize Category of R1.53B. The payable Winnings for that single Supabets Winning Bet will amount to R510M.
More than one Supabets Winning Bet in the Type A Prize Category
In a case, where there are more than one Supabets Winning Bet in the Type A Prize Category, the payable Winnings for the Supabets Winning Bets in the Type A Prize Category will be calculated based on a three-step calculation.
Step 1 – Calculation of the number of Shares:
The number of Shares = Number of Underlying Lottery Winning Tickets in that Prize Category + Number of Supabets Winning Bets in that Prize Category.
Step 2 – Calculation of the size of each Share:
Size of 1 Share = Underlying Lottery Jackpot in that Prize Category / Number of Shares
Step 3 – The allocation of the Winnings:
1 Share per Supabets Winning Bet in the Type A Prize Category
Example 3: If there are two Supabets Winning Bets in the Type A Prize Category and one Underlying Lottery Winning Ticket has been announced by the Underlying Lottery Operator in the Type A Prize Category for an Underlying Lottery Jackpot in the Type A Prize Category of R1.53B. There are three Payout Shares, each in the size of R510M. The payable Winnings for each Supabets Winning Bet in the Type A Prize Category will amount to R510M.
11.3. The Winnings in a Type B Prize Category
The payable Winnings for each Supabets Winning Bet in a Type B Prize Category will depend on the number of the Underlying Lottery Winning Tickets in that Prize Category, the number of Supabets Winning Bets in that Prize Category, the payable Prize by the Underlying Lottery Operator for the Underlying Lottery Winning Tickets in that Prize Category as well as the Underlying Lottery Jackpot in that Prize Category.
The calculation done by Supabets of the Winnings in a Type B Prize Category is on the basis of the number of aggregate Stakes published by the Underlying Lottery Operator, in addition to the distribution of that Jackpot Prize Category or on the basis of the jackpot published on the Website of the Underlying Lottery Operator for that Prize Category of the relevant draw of the Underlying Lottery.
Only one Supabets Winning Bet in a Type B Prize Category
In a case, where there is only one Supabets Winning Bet in a Type B Prize Category, the payable Winnings for this Supabets Winning Bet are calculated as follows:
Winnings = Underlying Lottery Jackpot in that Type B Prize Category / (Underlying Lottery Winning Tickets in that Type B Prize Category + 1)
Example 1: In a case, where there is only one Supabets Winning Bet in a Type B Prize Category and no Underlying Lottery Winning Ticket has been announced by the Underlying Lottery Operator in that Type B Prize Category for an Underlying Lottery Jackpot in a Type B Prize Category of R153M. The payable Winnings for that single Supabets Winning Bet will amount to R153M.
Example 2: In a case, where there is only one Supabets Winning Bet in a Type B Prize Category and two Underlying Lottery Winning Tickets have been announced by the Underlying Lottery Operator in that Type B Prize Category for an Underlying Lottery Jackpot in a Type B Prize Category of R153M. The payable Winnings for that single Supabets Winning Bet will amount to R51M.
More than one Supabets Winning Bet in a Type B Prize Category
In a case, where there are more than one Supabets Winning Bet in a Type B Prize Category, the payable Winnings for these Supabets Winning Bets will be calculated based on a three-step calculation:
Step 1 – The calculation of the number of Shares:
The number of Shares = Number of Underlying Lottery Winning Tickets in that Prize Category + Number of Supabets Winning Bets in that Prize Category
Step 2 – The calculation of Size of each Share:
Size of 1 Share = Underlying Lottery Jackpot / Number of Shares
Step 3 – Allocation of the Winnings:
1 Share per Supabets Winning Bet in that Prize Category
Example 4: If there are two Supabets Winning Bets in a Type B Prize Category and one Underlying Lottery Winning Ticket has been announced by the Underlying Lottery Operator in that Type B Prize Category for an Underlying Lottery Jackpot in a Type B Prize Category of R51M. There will be three Payout Shares, with a size of R17M each. The payable Winnings for each Supabets Winning Bet in that Prize Category will amount to R17M.
11.4. Winnings in a Type C Prize Category
The Winnings to be paid out for each Supabets Winning Bet in a Type C Prize Category will be the amount of the Prize announced by the Underlying Lottery Operator for an Underlying Lottery Winning Ticket in the respective Prize Category. If the Underlying Lottery Operator has not announced a Prize in the respective Prize Category for the relevant draw of the Underlying Lottery, the payable Winnings for each Supabets Winning Bet in that Prize Category will be calculated based on the aggregate amounts paid in for the relevant draw of the Underlying Lottery announced by the Underlying Lottery Operator and its allocation to the winning Prize Categories.
11.5. Payout of Prizes from Prize Categories to other Prize Categories
The above-mentioned regulations apply under the assumption that there is no Payout of Prizes from Prize Categories to other Prize Categories, due to no Underlying Lottery Winning Tickets in a Prize Category for one draw, due to no Underlying Lottery Winning Tickets in a Prize Category for a number of subsequent draws or due to a jackpot cap.
11.6. Payout of Prizes in Mega Millions and PowerBall
As is common with MUSL Mega Millions and Powerball, Supabets may Payout the Winnings in Prize Category 1 over 30 years (the “Annuity Option”). If Supabets will choose the Annuity Option, the first payment will be made as soon as possible after the draw, and the next 29 payments will be made at one-year intervals. The level of payments will be calculated so that the payments rise by the percentage that is set by MUSL from year to year until the full sum has been paid out. If Supabets chooses the option to Payout Winnings in one lump sum (“Cash Option”), the Winnings after withholdings will be discounted, as it is done in MUSL Mega Millions and Powerball. The discount rate is 40%, i.e. the lump sum will be 60% of the Annuity Option value. It is solely at Supabets’s discretion to choose the Payout plan.
11.7. Withholdings for Prizes in Mega Millions and PowerBall
Supabets will retain 38% withholdings of prizes in the highest three prize categories in Mega Millions and PowerBall due to the fact that it is intended to put the Player in a similar economic position as if they had played the underlying lottery.
11.8. >Withholdings for Prizes in SuperEnalotto
Supabets will retain 12% withholdings of prizes in the highest three prize categories in SuperEnalotto due to the fact that it is intended to put the Player in a similar economic position as if they had played the underlying lottery.
12. Subscriptions
12.1. Where available, you can select the subscription option to place automated bets for products on the Supabets website. When you subscribe you accept to be automatically rebilled every 30 days through the chosen payment method and//or your Player Account balance.
12.2. Once a player has bought a lottery subscription, the player will be billed at the time of purchase. After 29 days, a day before the subscription ends, the player will be notified via email about the next billing amount. If the player didn’t cancel the subscription, it will auto-renew automatically.
12.3. If you choose to end your subscription, it will be terminated automatically at the next billing cycle.
12.4. We may change our subscription plans and pricing from time to time. Players will be notified about any price changes or changes to the subscription plans prior to rebilling. More information about our subscriptions can be found HERE.
13. Rights of Supabets
13.1. The Player will not be entitled to claim any Winnings or receive any Payouts from Supabets and/or Supabets may decide at its sole discretion the validity of a Bet, or a Player’s entitlement to Winnings Payout or invalidate/void a Bet if i. Bets were placed after the relevant deadline or before the start of the relevant Betting Event; ii. Bets were faultily accepted after the relevant deadline or if the relevant Betting Event had already begun or taken place; iii. Supabets becomes aware of any error in correlation to a Bet, a Betting Event; iv. the Bet was placed on behalf of the Player was played by a Player who has provided false information in connection with their Player Account or any other false information in connection with the Website or the services available via the Website; v. the Bet was placed on behalf of the Player was played by a Player who was involved in any fraud-related activities in correlation to the placing of the Bet, the operation of the Player Account or otherwise in connection with the Website or the services available via the Website; vi. the Bet was placed on behalf of the Player was played by a Player who was under 18 years old at the time the Bet was placed or was a director, officer, or employee (or their spouse or dependant) of Supabets or of one of the group companies at the time the Bet was placed or prior to that; vii. the Player maintains more than one Player Account; viii. in conjunction with any Betting Event, fraud, human and/or technical error or any unwarranted influence that has occurred; or ix. The Betting Event is declared invalid by the relevant organizer or operator.
13.2. When deciding if Winnings are to be paid out due to 13.1., Supabets may base its decision on information that was researched and/or was obtained either by Supabets or by any other entity. Supabets is not obliged to carry out an investigation on its own.
13.3. Supabets may claim Winnings back from the Player, after they have already been paid out in a case, where any of the circumstances referred to in 13.1 (i) – 13.1. (ix) arise.
13.4. In a case, where any Bet is invalidated in accordance with 13.1. (i), (ii), or (iii), Supabets will offer the Player the option of placing any such Bet on the next relevant Betting Event or crediting the Player’s Player Account with the relevant sum. If any Bet is otherwise invalidated by Supabets in accordance with this clause, the relevant sum associated with that Bet may be forfeited to Supabets; or, in the case where the Bet was placed by a Player who was under the age of 18 at the time of placing the Bet, the relevant sum will be credited to Supabets on behalf of the Player.
13.5. Supabets reserves the right i. to deduct from the Player’s Winnings the amount of any unpaid Bets or for Bets owed by that Player; ii. to suspend, vary or terminate any product offered on the Website, immediately and without any prior notice, at Supabets’s sole discretion; iii. to pay Winnings partly or fully in installments at Supabets’s sole discretion and iv. to require that the Player produces any identification documents in order to enable Supabets to approve the validity of the Player Account details and the Player’s entitlement to the Winnings, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Supabets may withhold or postpone payment of Winnings until any such matter has been solved to Supabets’s satisfaction.
13.6. Supabets reserves the right to decide regarding the acceptance of a Player’s Bet, prior to the beginning of the Betting Event. If Supabets does not accept a Bet, Supabets will offer the Player the option of placing any such Bet on the next relevant Betting Event.
14. BONUS POLICY
14.1. All promotions, bonuses or special offers are subject to promotion-specific terms and conditions. In order for the Player to obtain eligibility to receive any bonus and/or promotion, these bonuses and/or promotions must be used in adherence with such terms and conditions.
14.2. Supabets reserves the right to withdraw any bonus, promotion or special offer at any time. In a case, where Supabets believes the Player is abusing or attempting to abuse a bonus or any other promotion or is likely to benefit through the abuse or lack of good faith, Supabets will, at its sole discretion, withhold, withdraw or deny the Player from any bonus or promotion, or rescind any policy with respect to the Player, either temporarily or permanently, or block and/or terminate the Player’s access to Supabets’s Website, services, and products without any obligation to pay the Player any amount (including Winnings generated from the use of such promotion, bonus or special offer to the extent collected by Supabets in accordance with these Terms and Conditions).
14.3. Supabets reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to prevent the Player from logging into the Player Account or depositing from certain jurisdictions, from participating and being eligible for any or all bonuses and promotions.
14.4. The provisions of this section apply to all kinds of bonuses, promotions, and benefits granted to the Player by Supabets in excess of the actual deposit of funds made by the Player.
14.5. Any bonus and/or promotion received must be used within a predefined period from the date in which such bonus and/or promotion is received; after such period, Supabets will eliminate any part of the bonus and/promotion not used. The Player is not entitled to such part of the bonus and/or promotion.
14.6. Supabets will periodically update the bonuses and/or promotions that it offers to the Players on the Website. The Player acknowledges and agrees that it is under the Player’s sole responsibility to follow such updates on the Website.
SECTION 3 – GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
15. Complaints
14.5. At any time, the Player may contact Customer Service. Players will receive a response within 5 business days.

16. Commitment of Decisions
16.1. In a case, where a dispute regarding a Bet or the Payout or awarding of any Winnings, Supabets may choose to withhold Payout of the Winnings until any dispute has been resolved to Supabets’s reasonable satisfaction.
16.2. Notwithstanding clause 15.1, Supabets may, at its sole discretion, reimburse the sum paid by the Player for the relevant Bet that is under dispute or offer a new Bet to the Player.
17. General Liability and Force Majeure
17.1. Supabets will not be liable to any Player or any third parties, whether in contract, tort (including negligence, breach of statutory duty or other torts) or otherwise and:
i. for any revenue loss, business, anticipated savings or profits (whether direct or indirect); or
ii. for any consequential, special or indirect loss, costs, damage or other claims, whether caused through no supply or late supply of the Website or any other services available via the Website, non-performance of these Terms and Conditions or otherwise.
17.2. Without prejudice to any provision of these Terms and Conditions, Supabets shall not be liable to any person, firm or corporation:
i. for any event beyond Supabets’s reasonable control including and without limitation, any force majeure circumstances, actual or threatened war or other threat or challenge to a governmental authority, nationalization, confiscation, destruction or requisition of or damage to property by or under the order of any public local authority or Government, lockout, strike, industrial action, flood, fire, storm, drought, power cut and/or failure or obstruction of any network, broadcasting or telecommunications services;
ii. for the damage or destruction to, or failure of, or any errors caused by the computer systems or records or any third party (including, without limitation, the Website), or any aspect of the foregoing;
iii. for errors, delays, losses or omissions made by the banking system or the postal system or other delivery service;
iv. for any other even or action that may prevent or hinder the acceptance or processing of a Bet;
v. for the refusal to allocate a Bet to any person or to allow any person to place a Bet; or
vi. for any losses caused to the Player including unauthorized use or misuse of Passwords, funds lost by placing Bets, and failure or malfunction of the equipment or technology of the relevant Player or their Internet service provider.
18. Liability of Supabets
18.1. Supabets strives to ensure that all the services on the Website are available to the Player. However, Supabets does not guarantee that:
i. the Website will be available for any specific period or at any specific time;
ii. the Website’s features, functionality or performance will meet the Player’s requirements or those of third parties; or
iii. the Website or its functionality, services, and features are, or will be, available on, or compatible with, the devices or systems used by the Player to access the Website. Additionally, Supabets does not warrant that any updates, alerts or advises the Player may opt in to will be provided before the deadline for instructing Supabets to place a Bet on the relevant Betting Event and shall not be liable to the Player if any such updates, alerts or advises are incorrect, incomplete or delayed, or are not sent to or not received by the Player.
18.2. Supabets strives to ensure that the results and Winnings provided on the Website are timely and correct. However, Supabets will not be liable for any errors or malfunctions revealed before or after Winnings have been paid out where such error is based on incorrect information that is published by a relevant publisher of that information relevant to those Winnings.
18.3. Supabets will not be responsible for any losses or damages due to the insolvency of third parties, including the banks maintaining the Supabets bank accounts.
18.4. Supabets’s liability against the Player is limited to the aggregated sum, which the Player has spent in the last 30 days.
18.5. Supabets will not be liable for any losses or damages that may arise from the insolvency of third parties, including any bank, including (without limitation) any bank with which Supabets maintains its accounts.
18.6. Any liability that Supabets carries other than the obligation to pay Winnings to the Player for successful and valid Bets placed by the Player and submitted and accepted according to these Terms and Conditions is limited, as it follows:
(i) in the case that the liability refers to a Bet: to the total amount of the Player’s Stake in regards to that specific Bet.
19. Scope of the Agreement
19.1. The agreement between (i) the Player and Supabets and (ii) the Player and Supabets in regards to this Website and the services offered via the Website contain:
i. these Terms and Conditions;
ii. the Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy and Personal Data Protection Policy (where applicable); and
iii. the content and clarifications which appear on the Website
Supabets regards this agreement and its components as appropriate and fair.
19.2. Supabets does not send individual terms entered separately by the Players when they register, deposit or play on the Website. The Players can access these Terms and Conditions on the Website. Players can make a durable copy or scan of these Terms and Conditions by printing/scanning and/or saving a downloaded copy on their own computer.
20. Law
20.1. All transactions including the payment of Winnings whether contractual or otherwise between Players and Supabets shall be deemed to be concluded and to take place in accordance with South Africa law.
20.2. These Terms and Conditions, the relationship between Players and Supabets and/or Supabets and each Bet shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the National Responsible Gambling Programme 0800 006 008.
20.3. Whereas these Terms and Conditions are published in several languages, the English version of these Terms and Conditions will serve as the original document and will prevail over any conflicting elements with other languages.
20.4. The Player accepts and agrees to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator, in relation to all disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions or any Bet submitted on the Website.
20.5. Online gaming and gambling may be illegal in some jurisdictions or its legality may be in question. Each Player acknowledges and agrees that Supabets cannot and will not give any legal advice or assurances or provide in any manner the legality of using its services in the jurisdiction where Players reside or are located.
20.6. Supabets will not be liable for any illegal or unauthorized use of the Website or its respective services.
20.7. Customer data is strictly confidential, subject to exceptions contained in these Terms and Conditions or under applicable law.
20.8. As to its European clients The Company adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation, other relevant regulations, legal notices and/or similar at the Place of the Contract taking under account also the Electronic Communications Privacy Directive (EC Directive/2002/58/EC).
Personal data is provided by The Player to Supabets for use of the Supabets services (contractual execution), as well as to ensure compliance with the applicable legislation, such as to ensure that no underage individuals are using Supabets services, that the payment processing information is accurate, as well as to ensure that Supabets’ services are not used in an unlawful manner or otherwise in breach of the law or of these Terms and Conditions.
20.9. Supabets may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about the Player, grouped together as follows:
● Identity Data – includes first name, surname, maiden name, last name, username or similar identifier, gender, date of birth.
● Contact Data includes residence address, delivery address, email address and telephone numbers.
● Financial Data includes data for transactions, and if available to Supabets – bank account and payment details, online payment or cheque.
● Technical Data includes internet protocol (IP) address, login data (where not encrypted), browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and other technology on the devices you use to access this website.
● Profile Data includes your login data (where not encrypted), type of registration, membership details, preferences, feedback, information supporting your application and survey responses.
● Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing emails from us and our third parties and your communication preferences.
20.10. Supabets ensures their account holders that:
● all personal data is processed in accordance with the rights of the account holder concerned;
● all personal data is processed fairly and lawfully;
● all personal data is always processed in accordance with good practice;
● personal data is only collected for specific, explicitly stated and legitimate purposes;
● personal data is not processed for any purpose that is incompatible with that for which the information is collected;
● personal data that is processed is adequate and relevant in relation to the purposes of the processing;
● no more personal data is processed than is necessary with regards to the purposes of the processing;
● the personal data that is processed is correct and, if necessary, up to date;
● no personal data is kept for a period longer than 5 /five/ years, with regards to the purposes for which they are processed. Although Supabets reserves the right to deny the erase of personal data in case of providing law enforcement authorities the information necessary in case of criminal prosecution or investigation of a Governing authority. If Supabets needs to use your personal data also for an unrelated purpose, you will be notified and you will be explained the legal basis which allows Supabets to do so;
● all reasonable measures are taken to complete, correct, block or erase data to the extent that such data is incomplete or incorrect, having regard to the purposes for which they are processed.
20.11. Supabets discloses personal data when ordered to do so by the Governing Authorities and/or under provision in the Governing Law. Furthermore, the Company reserves the right to disclose personal data to relevant recipients when the Company has reasonable grounds to suspect irregularities that involve a breach of the applicable legislation or of these Terms and Conditions. Supabets reserves also the right to disclose personal data to payment processors for the purposes of payment processing, as well as to ensure compliance with the applicable financial transactions legislation.
20.12. Supabets reserves the right to process personal data for CRM (Customer Relationship Management) purposes.
20.13. According to EU Regulation 2016/679 the Player at any time has the right to withdraw their consent (where this is the only ground for the processing), access, correct, supplement, delete, object to the processing or restrict the processing or transfer the data (including to another controller) with regard to the personal data provided to it. Your personal data may be subject to automated taking of individual decisions for the purposes of the provision of the Supabets services.
The rights listed above can be exercised at any time by email to support@Supabets, as the email needs to contain enough information about the Player, the types of data, as well as the type of actions that need to be undertaken. The email will be reviewed within a reasonable term, but not longer than one month, for which the Player will be notified. In case the Player considers that their rights were breached, they have the right to make a claim before the competent personal data protection authority or the court.
