About Us

Supabets is a leading player in the betting industry, committed to delivering exceptional experiences to our clients while maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance and compliance. We are
currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Company Secretary
to join our dynamic team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements,
    including those specific to the betting industry
  • Provide expert advice to the directors on governance matters and legal obligations.
  • Organise and manage board meetings, including preparing agendas, recording accurate minutes, and ensuring timely follow ups.
  • Maintain statutory records, such as registers of directors, shareholders, and annual returns.
  • Act as the principal liaison between the company and regulatory authorities, fostering transparent and effective communication.
  • Monitor legislative changes affecting the industry and ensure timely implementation of necessary measures.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of financial statements and reports.
  • Promote ethical business practices and corporate responsibility within the organisation.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • An accredited qualification in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A Chartered Secretary qualification or equivalent professional. certification is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and legal framework.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to create engaging designs for social media platforms.
  • Understanding of marketing strategies and how to apply them visually.
  • Creativity: An eye for design detail and the ability to produce original content.
  • Communication: Strong collaborative skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing relevant work in the betting, gambling, or sports industries is preferable.
  • Knowledge of video editing software is a plus.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Company Secretary or in a similar governance role.
  • Familiarity with the betting or gambling industry is highly advantageous.
