ARSENAL ARE THE 2026 PREMIER LEAGUE KINGS
Aston Villa ended their 30-year wait for major silverware in stunning fashion after defeating SC Freiburg 3-0 in the 2026 UEFA Europa League final in Istanbul.
Managed by Unai Emery, Villa produced a dominant display to secure the club’s first European trophy since their famous European Cup triumph in 1982.
The breakthrough arrived late in the first half when Youri Tielemans fired home a superb volley to give Villa the lead. Moments later, Emiliano Buendía doubled the advantage with a brilliant curling effort before halftime.
Morgan Rogers sealed the victory in the second half as Freiburg struggled to respond to Villa’s intensity and quality.
The triumph also marked Emery’s fifth Europa League title as a manager, further cementing his reputation as one of Europe’s greatest knockout competition specialists.
