SPENCE MAKES INTER MILAN SWITCH!
Djed Spence has completed a major move to Italian giants Inter Milan, bringing his four-year spell at Tottenham Hotspur to an end.
The England international has signed a contract with the Serie A champions until June 2031, with the transfer worth around £30 million.
The 26-year-old heads to Italy after an impressive 2026 World Cup campaign, where he featured eight times as England secured a third-place finish. His performances helped reignite his reputation after an inconsistent spell in North London.
Spence originally joined Spurs in 2022 and endured loan spells at Rennes, Leeds United and Genoa before establishing himself more regularly in the first team. His previous experience in Serie A is expected to help him settle quickly in Milan.
Inter were searching for a new wing-back following Denzel Dumfries’ departure to Real Madrid, making Spence a natural fit for their system.
He will also link up with fellow England international John Stones, giving Inter an intriguing English connection as they prepare to defend their Serie A crown.
