BOKS CRUSH ENGLAND IN NATIONS OPENER

The Springboks launched their inaugural Nations Championship campaign in style with a dominant 45-21 win over England, delivering a clinical display of power, pace, and precision.

South Africa surged ahead early through tries from Thomas du Toit, Cheslin Kolbe and Kurt-Lee Arendse, then withstood a brief England fightback before taking full control in the second half.

Grant Williams brought renewed energy from the base of the scrum, while Jesse Kriel and Ben-Jason Dixon added further tries as the world champions overpowered England. The visitors fought hard and scored three times, but their ill-discipline and the Springboks’ relentless intensity proved too difficult to withstand.

Hooker Malcolm Marx capped another outstanding performance by crashing over for one of South Africa’s seven tries, reaching the milestone of 27 Test tries for the Springboks.

This is the most tries scored by a South African Forward. The achievement further cements his status as one of the most prolific forwards in international rugby and highlights his immense value to Rassie Erasmus’ side.

The convincing victory sends a strong message to the rest of the competition, with the Springboks underlining why they remain one of world rugby’s benchmark teams as they chase the inaugural Nations Championship crown.
