ALL BLACKS RUN RIOT AT LOFTUS

The All Blacks sent a powerful warning ahead of their blockbuster Test series against the Springboks after demolishing the Bulls 50-19 at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.

New Zealand produced their most complete performance of the tour, running in eight tries and dominating the Pretoria side at the set-piece and breakdown.

The visitors came flying out of the blocks, with winger Josh Moorby scoring twice before captain Codie Taylor added two tries of his own. By half-time, the All Blacks had stormed into a commanding 24-0 lead.

The Bulls fought back after the break, with Ruan Vermaak crossing, but New Zealand soon regained control. Leroy Carter scored twice, and Rieko Ioane and Wallace Sititi also went over as the All Blacks surged past the 50-point mark.

The victory completed a perfect three-match start to New Zealand’s South African tour, following wins over the Stormers and Sharks.

Now attention turns to Johannesburg, where the All Blacks face the world champion Springboks on August 22. The Bulls defeat may have been a warm-up, but New Zealand’s ruthless display has sent a serious message: the All Blacks are ready for the big battle.
