LENS SHOCK PSG TO LIFT TROPHÉE DES CHAMPIONS!
RC Lens have stunned Paris Saint-Germain with a sensational 1-0 victory to win the 2026 Trophée des Champions and claim the French Super Cup for the first time in their history.
Playing in front of a roaring home crowd at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis, Lens produced a heroic defensive display to overcome the reigning Ligue 1 and European champions.
The decisive moment arrived in the 32nd minute when veteran forward Florian Thauvin reacted quickest to a deflected effort from Matthieu Udol to fire Lens ahead.
Things became even more difficult for the hosts seven minutes later when Kyllian Antonio was sent off, leaving Lens to defend their precious advantage with 10 men for more than 50 minutes.
PSG kept pushing, but goalkeeper Robin Risser delivered a superb display, making six saves to deny Luis Enrique’s side. Their frustration deepened when Nuno Mendes was also sent off late on.
For Lens, it was a night of courage, resilience, and history — while PSG’s hopes of a fifth straight Trophée des Champions ended in spectacular fashion.
