The 2025/26 Premier Soccer League Awards celebrated the outstanding performers of another memorable South African football season, with newly crowned Premiership champions Orlando Pirates dominating the evening’s biggest honours.

Former Buccaneers star Relebohile Mofokeng emerged as the standout winner, claiming the prestigious PSL Footballer of the Season, Players’ Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season awards after an exceptional campaign before his move to Belgian club Royale Union Saint-Gilloise.

Pirates’ success continued with Abdeslam Ouaddou named Coach of the Season after leading the Soweto giants to the league title, while goalkeeper Sipho Chaine won Goalkeeper of the Season. Oswin Appollis was also named Midfielder of the Season for his influential performances throughout the campaign.

Elsewhere, Lebone Seema won Defender of the Season, Junior Dion finished as the league’s Top Goalscorer, Tshepang Moremi received the MTN8 Last Man Standing award, and Mbekezeli Mbokazi was crowned Carling Knockout Player of the Tournament.

The awards underscored Orlando Pirates’ dominance, with the club’s players and coaching staff securing most of the major honours after one of the most successful seasons in its history.
