BAFANA HAVE LANDED

Bafana Bafana have arrived in Mexico for their long-awaited return to the FIFA World Cup after days of uncertainty over visa delays that disrupted their preparations.

The South African team reached their training base in Pachuca after administrative problems postponed their departure from Johannesburg by more than 24 hours.

The issues were eventually resolved, allowing Hugo Broos and his squad to resume their tournament preparations. Assistant coach Helman Mkhalele has also been cleared to travel and is expected to join the team in Mexico.

South Africa now turns its full attention to the opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup against co-hosts Mexico in Mexico City on June 11.

With the travel drama finally behind them, Bafana Bafana will be determined to make a positive start as they compete in their first World Cup since 2010.

It’s going to be an epic clash when South Africa and Mexico take to the field on June 11th and now is the time to get in those early bets. Let’s back our boys right now.
