A ROYAL WIN FOR RAJASTHAN
The Rajasthan Royals produced a dominant performance to defeat Mumbai Indians by 27 runs in a rain-shortened 11-over match in Guwahati.
Batting first, Rajasthan posted a formidable 150/3, powered by a blistering unbeaten 77 off 32 balls from Yashasvi Jaiswal, who struck 10 fours and four sixes. He was well supported by Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s rapid 39 off 14 deliveries, as the Royals raced to 80 runs inside five overs.
In reply, Mumbai struggled early, collapsing to 46/5 within five overs and never recovering. Despite late resistance, they were restricted to 123/9. Rajasthan’s bowlers, led by Sandeep Sharma and Ravi Bishnoi, maintained control to seal a comfortable win.
