RAMSEY CALLS IT A DAY

Aaron Ramsey has announced his retirement from professional football, bringing an end to a distinguished career spanning nearly two decades.

The 35-year-old Welsh midfielder began at Cardiff City before rising to prominence at Arsenal, where he made over 350 appearances and scored 64 goals, famously netting in two FA Cup finals. He later joined Juventus, winning Serie A, and had spells with OGC Nice and Rangers.

Across his club career, Ramsey played roughly 580 matches and scored close to 95 goals. Internationally, he earned over 80 caps for Wales, playing a key role in their run to the Euro 2016 semi-finals.

Known for his energy, intelligence, and eye for goal, Ramsey leaves behind a legacy as one of Wales’s finest modern players.
